The word "Bower" has a history of evoking cozy homes, gardens, and carefully curated spaces. In older usage, it meant a dwelling, habitation, or abode—a place where people lived, gathered, and made their surroundings their own. For a site dedicated to creating and collecting your perfect cozy home in WoW, it felt like a perfect fit.
And then there's Bowerstone itself, the town from the Fable franchise. It's one of my all-time favorite games, so the name has personal meaning for me. It embodies everything I wanted this site to capture: a sense of fantasy, adventure, and community.
Bowerstone is a passion project built during evenings, weekends, and free time to create a user-friendly database for the housing community. The site is completely ad-free, with no investors. Just genuine enthusiasm and way too much coffee. :)
